Patrick Neary
Dr. J. Patrick Neary is an expert in exercise physiology and Professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies at the University of Regina. His applied research in this area has been used to understand the effects of physical stress in occupational fields such as firefighting and shift work. Dr. Neary has held Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) funding through the Collaborative Research Development (CRD) program to assist in the development of a cardiac biosensor for safety and security. Dr. Neary will be critical for performing the biophysiological assessments, particularly the cardiology assessments and interpretations, in concert with the proposed technological data collection (e.g., Hexoskin).
